If you are particularly interested in the meditative aspect of Astanga. then it may be useful to do an “easy” practice ever)’ now and then; perhaps just the Sun Salutations (see pages 46—53) — ten of each as a way to get into a steady rhythm. At the end of your practice session rest for a few minutes longer than you think you need to — let your mind be at peace in that deeply relaxed state.
